How a Value Network
Allows Us to Go Far — Safely

“Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add,
but when there is nothing left to take away.”

We thought we knew what an ending looks like, and what a new beginning should feel like.

Ups and downs, pain, joy, and adventures repeatedly gave us the feeling —
this is really an end.

And yet, there was always a subtle sensation alongside it:
it still felt familiar…

At the same time, a deeper understanding emerged:
when something truly ends and something else truly begins,
it isn’t supposed to feel familiar.

Do you recognize that?

Because when a real ending arrives —
there is nothing more to add.

When there is nothing to add, and what lies behind us is clear and defined,
yet there is still no compass or map for what comes next —
moving forward means crossing a threshold.

A threshold that still holds us within it's ending,
but does not yet allow us to step into the longed-for beginning.

For us - our body, heart, and soul understood
that in order to cross our own threshold,
we had to accept — and truly agree within ourselves —
that the “thing” behind us is complete.

Finished.
Nothing needs to be taken away.

This realization, when it arrives, is deeply moving —
and also confusing and frightening.

To make peace with everything we didn’t manage to do,
everything we didn’t fix, upgrade, renovate, or replace.
To let it be present with us — and to accept it.

When we look toward the field of possibilities opening before us,
countless directions appear.

The abundance of options is confusing,
confusion turns into frustration,
then fear of the unknown becomes present —
especially for those of us who are parents.

The need for change intensifies,
and all we want is for something to finally become clear.

The impulses (patterns) are strong —
to hold on a little longer to the familiar,
to try again — just slightly different
(but essentially the same).

They are almost as strong as the impulses calling us
to run, now. toward something new -
before we fully come to terms with an uncompromising ending.

Allowing all of these impulses to pass through us
is also part of our movement
toward finding balance and a middle path.

So that movement arrives as a blessing —
not as force.

Alongside all this motion, another kind of movement begins to form.

Not an answer —
a direction.

We have a compass, and we have a map.
They are not precise — they are directional.

These are the values we believe in
and choose to honor as companions on the path.

Not as philosophy,
but as concrete directions:

Honesty and innocence that look directly at numbness and decay;
Personal and social responsibility that reveal different paths of action;
Compassion and giving that connect us to a wide human network;
Respect and gratitude that protect us from arrogance and narrow vision.

And more, and more —
a value network for focus and balance when crossing thresholds.

And when the threshold is finally crossed -
the field of possibilities reveals itself.

Wide.
Open.
Full of forms and directions.

Our movement within it is value-driven -
both steering and propulsion.

The value network helps us refine:
to sift the noise and ask what truly matters.

Questions ripen, directions take clearer shape,
potentials materialize and gain real value.

Right movement begins with right direction -
and that is our aim now:

To pause for a moment in this colorful field,
to breathe patience into it,
and to refine the path that is right for us.

And this is where we meet -
you and us.

With innocence and open hearts,
with respect and reciprocity.

The first step into a new path
is a journey in itself.

It is an optimistic place,
looking ahead,
holding both questions and answers.

For us, togetherness is not merely a state -
it is a core value
that holds us in anticipation for the future.

Together.

In the next article, we will share how this conscious choice -
to lean on a value network while crossing a threshold -
meets us not only as a creative unit,
but as a family.
