We are married.
No children.

Hadas supports and cares for children with special needs.
Saar leads and manages a support framework for youth at high risk in southern Israel.
We are both moving in meaningful directions.
Yet we both sense that good intentions alone
will not take us where we envision.
We understand that the choices we make
deeply affect our partner.
We feel we need to grow.
That our ideas and intensions about sustainability, care, and wellbeing
ask for a wider path.
In hindsight, this is likely the first time
the concept of Sustainabeing™ helps us navigate.
A beginning of a language still unfolding today.
Even before we named it.
We realize that the most fundamental sustaining system
is our partnership.
Two core engines.
Two resources.
One system.

For a system to sustain -
both engines must move in sync.
Same direction.
Same rhythm.
This is not a given state.
It is a continuous practice.
To reach what we dream of -
we must connect what is shared and aligned between us.
To weave together our tools and actions.
To design a path that strengthens and integrates us.
To create a language that fulfills our dreams
and holds a grounded reality.
Simply put -
we practice observation.
Patient observation.
Unbiased.
The kind that sees patterns within the bigger picture.

Fifteen years pass.
More thresholds.
More endings.
Three children were born.
Many dogs.

Clarity is not always present.
Mistakes happen.
Life is dense.
It is hard to pause.
Yet the more we observe
the clearer things become.
What is essential and what is noise.
What is a resource and what drains.
What sustains and what is fragile.
Fast forward...
What do we truly seek?
Freedom.
Not vacation. Freedom.
To be joyful.
To nurture existence.
To expand consciousness.
Reality check -
We tried to sell our business in Mitzpe Ramon.
It didn't succeed.
After the dust settled
three clear exclamation marks remained:

We will part from the property,
even without a fair financial return. -
We will leave Israel towards the unknown.

We will grow beyond
identity tied to a place into a
knowledge and international network.
First
Parting when the reward
no longer feels worthy.
We shift the question.
Not what was taken.
But what exists.
What cannot be taken.
What is truly ours.
What holds value beyond money.
Raw value.
Potential value.
Value that opens a field of possibilities.
Then, fear becomes opportunity.
